Summers in Alleyways

It has been a very nice week in Montreal, today is rainy but they say it will be really warm and sunny for the weekend, yay! Stéphane and I are really enjoying taking walks in the evening and taking pictures. We found so many nice vintage clothing on our NYC trip. I found this tee shirt at a vintage shop on 12th street and 1st Ave, I forget the name of the place but everything was priced between 7$ to 40$, I also scored a black Coach mini back pack purse for 30$! I've really been into this 70s vibe for the past few months, think Jane Birkin circa 1969, worn out high waisted bell bottom jeans, leather shoes, white tees and white blouses, I love how she put things together back then. Every time I go thrifting in Montreal now I buy up all the basket bags I can't get my hands on. I got a pretty nice one last night along with plenty of vintage goodies for the shop.

Sunset and Trench coat

The sun shined today but it was cold, gloves and warm scarves were the best for today. I really enjoy taking my outfit post pictures at sunset, the light is very interesting. I am not a photo expert or anything but I do love photography. Id love to take a class or a few and get my camera working to the best that it can.

Kicking into Spring!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, I took my bike out again. I love how I feel now a days, getting dressed up is so much more fun when it's not freezing snow and rain all the time.

Let the Sunshine in your mind

I had a pretty long weekend, it really sucked all the life out of me but I am back. The weather is looking up, it was cold and snowy this morning and now it is sunshine and warm!

This was what I wore today, I love the Finnish suede jacket I found on Etsy a  few months ago, With a cardigan underneath I can tolerate -9 degrees Celsius.

Wishful Thinking

It is still really cold and nasty in these parts of the world, I am looking outside my atelier window and it is not pretty! So what do you do when this happens? Put on your fanciest new Spring dress and away you go!

I went thrifting on Friday night and found 3 blouses and 2 dresses, I kept this dress and a few of the blouses. I did a major clean up of my wardrobe on Saturday and did a rotation of blouses and dresses. Some of these will be in my Etsy shop very soon.  I visited this amazing Montreal landmark also on Saturday called Maison La Belle Renée, this will be in my next post.

Lilac And Flutter

It is yet an other cold and nasty day in Montreal, sucks for dressing up. Good thing I have a well lit kitchen! Here is a few shots of what I wore today.
