Saturday Streetstyle

For the 'Saturday Streetstyle' post this week, I have chosen outfits that have a slight androgynous touch over them. They are all very simplistic, with more focus on the materials and the cut of the pieces rather than a lot of accessories. There are a lot nice combinations with basic colours, such as black, beige and grey, but my favourite is the loose, dreamy white dress in the last photo. I love how she has teamed it with those incredible shoes.

Saturday Streetstyle

This is the second time this week that I am featuring one of the leather jackets from Miu Miu's S/S 2011 collection. Anna Dello Russo (photo no. 7) looks incredible wearing it. I love that she has teamed it with a neon yellow dress. I am easily impressed when an outfit has an element that pops out at you, such as the statement silver necklace in photo no. 2, Hanneli's baby blue nail polish in photo no. 3 and the golden sequin skirt in photo no. 4.

The Perfect Knitwear

As I live in a part of the world which gets quite cold, knitwear is essential for me. I get quite picky when it comes to my knitwear, though. It needs to be warm, without being too huge and bulky, and it needs to have a slight vintage feel to it. No one ever said I was an easy shopper! These two jumpers fit my criterions perfectly.

Hanneli Mustaparta wears a gorgeous brown and mustard yellow jumper by Stella McCartney. I love the 70s colour combination, and it is also the perfect kind of bulky. Hanneli has the best wardrobe. She has also taken this photo below of Geraldine Saglio in a lovely dark green jumper by Celine. I adore this jumper because of her whole look - the belt, the watch and the clutch - which makes it into such a desirable outfit.

Styling Session with Hanneli

I just saw this video with Hanneli Mustaparta and her H&M styling session where she uses items from their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Hanneli and her styling, and she does definitely not disappoint in this video. Altogether she styles four different looks, ranging from grunge to festival to 70s to cute. I find them all so great, so I can not decide which look I like the most. I love the layering of the grunge outfit, but I also have a very weak spot for that 70s inspired jumpsuit.
