street style with the new longer skirt length - but not Maxi

Another photo from the Magnum Ice Cream / Karl Lagerfeld party. I took this photo because she is wearing the newer calf length skirt, that seems to be just now making appearances in the evening. Love how she paired it with a leopard cami and more structured jacket on top. The key to successfully wearing a long skirt is keeping the jacket short. And she tops it all off with a velvet brimmed hat.
Oh, I've left out the boy! I don't have much to say about him: attractive, tasteful...maybe not brown shoes?
