Hues of Pink

Yesterday was quite the busy day, I worked on some shop stuff, met up with an old friend who gave me a great pep talk and then got a hair trim. I decided to go back to my good old bangs, I tried the bangs on the side look for a while but this is my favorite. 

Since it was a pretty early Fall day yesterday I had fun again with layering, I picked up these hot pink tights last week and was drawn to them instantly, I paired them with a velvet burgundy pair of overalls and a light pink peter pan collar blouse I thrifted over the weekend. I wanted to keep it for the shop but could not resist keeping it for myself. I like how the outfit came together I have been having fun playing with colors in the same hues lately I find it fun and unexpected. 

Well better get back to work!

Fall begins...

Wearing:

Well the weekend was quite a nice one, its Monday after noon and I have a ton of work to do, update my Etsy shop, add this new blog post, go thrifting and find new vintage items for the shop. I had a pretty successful morning, I found these amazing 50s sewing patterns. I talked to my dear friend Tara-Lynn who will be selling her amazing knits at Puces Pop on the 24th and 25th of this month. The sun is shinning bright and there is a little wind ,perfect weather for light layering and tights! I missed them all Summer long and now I can't finally put them on. I picked up the red suede purse on the weekend in my mothers neighborhood along with Stéphane's wedding band. He also got me my engagement ring ( a 1920s Art Deco white and yellow gold beauty of a ring) and matching wedding band. I purchased my wedding dress on Etsy last week, I am so excited to get it in the mail! The wedding will be next July here in Montreal and I am so happy to be sharing my life with Stéphane, he is so supportive of what I do and loves me for whom I am. I am one lucky lady.
