The Shoe Reel
We all know, that if there is one person who knows the importance of shoes, it is Carrie Bradshaw. When in a financial mess, she discovers that all her money ($40,000 to be exact!) has gone to purchasing fabulous footwear. That is one dedicated shoe lover! Net-A-Porter has asked several people in the fashion industry, such as Jessica Stam, Giovanna Battaglia and Leigh Lezark, how many pairs of shoes they own, and some of them may even give Carrie Bradshaw some real competition and beat her shoe budget.
I am definitely not in the same shoe league as some of these women, but I am slowly, but surely, building a nice little collection for myself. At the moment, I am dreaming of a pair of Yves Saint Laurent Tribute Sandals. Right now, I picture the beige suede sandals with sun-kissed legs for the summer, and the black leather ones with black tights and a body con LBD.
