Di doo dah!

Ive been having a hard time taking outfit pictures outside lately the weather is out of control, one minute it rains and the next it's pretty sunshine with a cold breeze in the air. Alas I have an amazing boyfriend who will help me out with my mini shoots in Montreal alley ways. I got this dress back in the cold months of Winter and did not wear it till now. I picked it up from my amazing friend Sarah who runs Cheapopulence vintage on Etsy and by appointment in Montreal. This hat print was screaming my name! Be sure to check out her shop she updates all the time with amazing vintage treasures.

I was wearing:

-Vintage 70s Novelty printed hat dress, from Cheapopulence Vintage :)
-Leather tooled mini backpack, souvenir from Cuba from my mother
-H&M black tights
-Nine West Wedge heels, thrifted
-Lip rouge by Lime Crime in Retro Futurist
-Nails done by me using Sally Hansen Nail Effects

-Vintage orange blouse
-Vintage grey leather belt
-H&M polka dot skirt
-Vintage Ferragamo black patent leather pumps

Blue Condition

I am kicking it with my new blue shiny leggings today, I had this jacket in my shop for the longest time and finally after trying to sell it I decided it would be best that it stay in my closet for now. I found this pink blouse a few weeks ago, it has little white and blue triangles on it.  I was never a huge fan of wearing leggings as pants, I know a lot of you find it tacky but these leggings really hold you in and made me feel secure. Most cotton type leggings make me feel like I am not wearing anything at all. I got my bangs and ends cut on Friday at this new salon I decided to try. it is called Hed on St-Laurent street, I really liked the lady that cut my hair she really listened to me and made me feel like a million bucks. Her name is Liliana. I highly recommend her if your in the market for a new hair stylist in Montreal.

I was wearing:

-Vintage blouse
-Vintage jacket
-Vintage necklace
-AA leggings
-Forever 21 shoes

Light as a feather

Yesterday was quite a beautiful day but a little frigid, I should have been wearing something a little warmer but I am so sick of Winter layers. I don't think there is anything wrong with freezing just a little. Atleast I am still wearing tights. In French we have a saying " En avril ne te découvre pas d'un fil." witch means in April do not show any skin basically, this is not an easy one to translate. What I am getting to anyways is that I don't really like that saying, April is the beginning on Spring to me and Spring means lighter clothing and goodbye clunky Winter boots!

So I came up with this outfit, I took out my Rachel Comey shoes that have not seen pavement since last Fall, it felt so good to walk down the street and feel so light. I noticed some buds on a few trees it really made my day. I can't wait till the trees have leaves.

I was Wearing:

-Vintage 70s London Fog Trench coat
-Vintage 60s crochet blouse, found in Toronto on Queen Street
-Vintage 70s Girl on  pink printed skirt, Beacons Closet
-Tights, Hue
-Shoes, Rachel Comey contributor from UO
-Vintage basket purse, thrifted
-Heirloom gold cross necklace from my Grand-Maman :) It is from her first communion when she was a little girl.
