Yesterday was quite a beautiful day but a little frigid, I should have been wearing something a little warmer but I am so sick of Winter layers. I don't think there is anything wrong with freezing just a little. Atleast I am still wearing tights. In French we have a saying " En avril ne te découvre pas d'un fil." witch means in April do not show any skin basically, this is not an easy one to translate. What I am getting to anyways is that I don't really like that saying, April is the beginning on Spring to me and Spring means lighter clothing and goodbye clunky Winter boots!
So I came up with this outfit, I took out my Rachel Comey shoes that have not seen pavement since last Fall, it felt so good to walk down the street and feel so light. I noticed some buds on a few trees it really made my day. I can't wait till the trees have leaves.
I was Wearing:
-Vintage 70s London Fog Trench coat
-Vintage 60s crochet blouse, found in Toronto on Queen Street
-Vintage 70s Girl on pink printed skirt, Beacons Closet
-Tights, Hue
-Shoes, Rachel Comey contributor from UO
-Vintage basket purse, thrifted
-Heirloom gold cross necklace from my Grand-Maman :) It is from her first communion when she was a little girl.
xo!
