As some of you may already know, Montreal received over 25 centimeters of snow (about 10 inches for the american readers). This really can put a damper on your wardrobe. I have this constant battle with my winter boots and coats during the hard Winter months. I never know what to pair with them. This year is a different story, the lovely people at Cougar shoes asked me to review a pair of boots from there new Winter collection. I know I did a previous post on these but I did not really get to test these out in a real blizzard.
So far my feet have been warm and dry, the boots are so light it is like walking on a cloud, they don't stain from the salt so far and I have been wearing these everyday for a week now. The top faux fur part can be rolled up or down as desired. I have to say these are by far the best Winter boots I have ever owned my in entire life. They go well with vintage coats as much as modern coats.
Did I mention how cold it is out today? -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit), I took these pictures very quickly very early this morning, don't ask how I managed to take these shots, my camera stopped working at the very end and could not focus anymore.
I was wearing :
-Cream chunky knit sweater from XXI
-Vintage maxi floral printed skirt
-Vintage Green turban knit head band
-Raven skull head pendant from Talonalia
-Vintage leather belt by DKNY
-Vintage leather satchel purse
-Handmade mittens
-Winter Boots courtesy of Cougar Boots
